The Toukan Soap Factory is a family owned company that produces Nabulsi soap - a castile soap that is made of virgin olive oil, water, and alkaline sodium compound, and only produced in Nablus. Due to being one of the two remaining Nabulsi soap company, the Toukan Soap Factory will be constructing a new building for the factory and the heritage building will be renovated to be use for office space on the second floor and a community cultural center on the first floor.
The new office's concept, "the key to unlocking potential", is inspired by the Toukan soap factory's logo of the keys on their soap wrapping. The key demonstrates the company's ongoing persistence as what was a small company in the 1920s and is now a prospering and significant establishment of being one of the 2 remaining soap factories in Palestine. Their persistence was what unlocked the potential of their success.
